How to pass the Microsoft PL-300 exam?
PL-300 exam is one of Microsoft’s most important exams, as it tests your abilities in various areas in the Power BI system. You may think that’ll be a piece of cake for you but the reality isn’t going to be that easy otherwise all power BI users Will end up passing this exam. If you are a Power BI ninja with several years of experience, you can pass it without needing to review anything or even read this article. I passed the PL-300 exam last week, without actually preparing. Still, I am a super active Power BI user, and I missed a lot of important questions related to DAX, and data connectivity but overall it was a great experience. I enjoyed reading and solving the problems.
So what is exactly this exam and why it’s important?
PL-300 exam measures your abilities to perform technical actions: prepare data, modeling, visualization, and deployment. Overall, I think this exam checks if you have a good technical understanding of how Power BI reports/dashboards work and the possibilities of improving them.
The importance of getting this certificate is to show your capabilities to employers and that you can grow and prove that in your own field. Becoming a Power BI associate requires a lot of consistency and determination, passing this exam will prove you are serious about what you do and also able to transfer this knowledge to your peers.
Don’t Study... Just build
It’s classic I know. You’ve probably heard this information over and over, but it just works! though, I would not build dashboards upon kaggle.com data. Build something useful for your team, improve existing ones, challenge yourself and set the barrier higher than what you used to. you know what? Just build something outside your comfort zone and you’ll find yourself learning and digging deep into internet wormhole reading, taking notes, and just learning.
